Abstract

Görevi devam eden cumhurbaşkanının görev süresinin belirlenmesine ilişkin iki
önemli sorun bulunmaktadır. Bir taraftan cumhurbaşkanının görev süresinin hangi
hukuki araçlarla belirleneceği, diğer taraftan, cumhurbaşkanının görev süresinin ne
kadar(kaç yıl) olduğu tespit edilmelidir. Çalışma, bu sorunları ortaya koymayı ve
bu sorunların nasıl çözülebileceği konusunda katkıda bulunmayı amaçlamaktadır

The Problem of Determining the Length of the President’s Term

Abstract

There are two significant problems concerning term of office of the incumbent
President of the Turkish Republic. On the one hand, one should clarify by which
legal instrument the term of office of the President is going to be determined. On
the other hand, one should settle the length of the President’s term. This research
note aims at contributing to these debates.
