Merkantilist Politikalardan 21.Yüzyıl Ticaret Savaşlarına

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, temelini merkantilist felsefeden alıp günümüzde Neo Merkantilizm olarak kendine uygulama alanı bulan korumacı politikalar incelenmektedir. Ayrıca 21.yüzyılda yaşanan benzer ekonomik olaylar hakkında tarihi süreç genel olarak ele alınmıştır. Korumacılık ve merkantilizm kavram olarak farklı bakış açılarıyla incelenmiş ve literatür taraması tarihi olay ve olgularla desteklenerek açıklanmıştır. Bununla beraber ülkelerin üretimi ve ihracatı arttırmak amacıyla uygulamaya koydukları politikalar neticesinde Ticaret Savaşları olgusu ortaya çıkmıştır. ABD’nin uygulamaya koyduğu çeşitli uygulamalar sonucunda birçok ülke ve dünya ekonomisi bu durumdan etkilenmiştir. Ticaret Savaşları neticesinde ithal girdi maliyetleri artarken ihracat maliyetleri yükselmiştir. Bu çalışmada Ticaret Savaşı kavramı hakkında literatür taraması yapılarak merkantilist politikalar ile ticaret savaşları arasındaki bağlantı incelenmiştir.
