Abstract

İnovasyon, son zamanlarda ülkelerin rekabet edebilirliğinde ve bölgelerin, illerin gelişmesinde en önemli araçlardan biri haline gelmiştir. İmalat sanayisi içerisinde yer alan sektörlerin hepsi çok önemlidir ve ülke ekonomileri için vazgeçilmez değere sahiptir. Bu sektörler içerisinde gıda sektörü her zaman önemini korumaktadır.Özellikle inovasyonun önemini, gıda sektörünün yaşadığı gelişmelere paralel olarak inovasyonun oynadığı rolü ortaya koymak, işletmelere önemli katkılar sağlayacaktır. Bu doğrultuda, Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesinde yer alan Gümüşhane ilinde faaliyette bulunan yöresel ürünleri üreten işletmelere inovasyon uygulamalarına yönelik olarak anket çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS istatistiksel programı kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda, ürün inovasyonu ve inovasyon faydası arasında anlamlı farklılıkların olduğu belirlenmiş, ancak beklenenin aksine, hizmet inovasyonu ve inovasyon faydası arasında anlamlı farklılıklar bulunamamıştır.

INNOVATION IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY: AN APPLICATION İN GUMUSHANE CITY’s LOCAL PRODUCTS

Abstract

Recently, innovation has become one of the most important tools in the competitiveness of the countries and in the development of the regions and of the provinces. All of the sectors in the manufacturing industry has been very important and has been indispensable value for national economies. The food industry is always preserved its importance in these sectors. In particular, parallel to the development of food industry, the importance of innovation will make significant contributions to the businesses. In this context, the survey was performed about the innovation practice for businesses that producing local products in the Gümüşhane province of the Eastern Black Sea Region. The obtained data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical software. According to the results obtained from the study, it has been found that there are significant differences between product innovation and innovation benefits, but contrary to expectations, innovation there is not any difference between service innovation and innovation benefits.
