Abstract

Today, there are more than 246,000 regularly and irregularly published serial publications. Only 16

currently active, but the others are no longer published. This editorial
presents information about a new peer-reviewed international journal on
acarology,
Acarological Studies (AS), aim of which is
to promote acarological research worldwide. The journal
AS is expected to give
a new impulse to the acarology.
AS
providing full open access to acarological information uses
