Abstract

Bu çalışma Society of American Archivists tarafından hazırlanmış bir arşiv tanımlama standardı olan DACS Describing Archives: A Content Standard isimli kitabın tanıtımını yapmayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada arşivler için oluşturulan belge tanımlama standartlarının öneminden, DACS’ın yapısından ve niteliklerinden bahsedilmiştir.

Abstract

This study aims to introduce DACS Describing Archives: A Content Standard, an archive description standard prepared by the Society of American Archivists. Our study discusses the importance of document description standards created for archives, as well as the structure and characteristics of DACS.
