Abstract

In 1926 the Italian scholar G. Moretti published a total of 28 inscriptions which he discovered in 1919 in the Kocain Cave on Hisardağ / İndağı on the way to the village of Ahırtaş in the province of Antalya. These inscriptions are dedications by eirenarches, anteirenarches and diogmites. However, our studies on these inscriptions have shown that many were published in an incomplete or faulty manner

Kocain Antalya Eirenarkhes, Anteirenarkhes ile Diogmites Yazıtlarının Yeniden Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Antalya İli’nin Ahırtaş Köyü yolu üzerinde Hisardağ / İndağı’ndaki Kocain Mağarası’nda, eirenarkhes, anteirenarkhes ile diogmitesler tarafından adanmış toplam 28 yazıt, 1919 yılında İtalyan araştırmacı G. Moretti tarafından bulunmuş ve 1926 yılında yayımlanmıştır. Moretti tarafından yayımlanan yazıtlar üzerinde tarafımızdan yapılan yeni okumalarda, birçok yazıtın hatalı ve eksik olarak yayımlandığını gördük. Söz konusu yazıtlar tarafımızdan yapılan “M.Ö. II. - M.S. IV. yy.’larda Likya-Pamfilya Bölgesinde Kırsal Alan Güvenliği” doktora tezi kapsamında da değerlendirilmiş; ancak revizyonunu tezde gerçekleştirmek mümkün olamamıştı1. Şimdi ise bu yazıtlar, gözden geçirilmiş haliyle bilim dünyasına yeniden kazandırılmaktadır
