Abstract

Ranula; ağız tabanında sublingual tükürük bezinin
kanallarının tıkanması veya yırtılması sonucunda ortaya çıkan klinik bir
durumdur. Ranula, ağız tabanında genellikle tek taraflı, mavimsi renkte,
fluktuan bir yumuşak doku kitlesi olarak görülmektedir. Ranulanın tedavisi için
eksizyon, marsupyalizasyon, bezle beraber ranulanın eksizyonu ve kriyocerrahi
gibi tedavi metodları rapor edilmiştir. Bu çalışmamızda marsupyalizasyon ile
tedavi ettiğimiz bir ranula vakasını sunuyoruz.

SUBLINGUAL RANULA: CASE REPORT

Abstract

Ranula is a clinical entity that seen in
the floor of the mouth as a result of obstruction or rupture of sublingual
salivary glands duct. Ranula is seen as fluctuan soft tissue mass with blue
color and unilaterally in the floor of the mouth. Several methods of treatment
for ranulas have been reported including excision of the ranula,
marsupialization, excision of the lesion with sublingual gland and cryosurgery.
In this case, we present a sublingual ranula was treated with marsupialization.
