Abstract
Septik artrit,
eklemlerdeki sinovyal zar ve sinovyal sıvının bakteriyel, viral ya da fungal
etkenlerle oluşan iltihabidır. Enfeksiyon etkeni genellikle hematojen yolla
yayılır ve tedavi edilmediği takdirde kalıcı ve ağır sakatlıklara yol açabilir.
Septik artrit belirli yaş gruplarında ve predispozan faktörler varlığında daha
sık görülmekte ve en sık olarak da diz, kalça, omuz gibi büyük eklemleri
tutmaktadır. Biz bu olguda nadir görülen ve gözden kaçabilen bir symphysis
pubis artritli olguyu sunduk.
