Abstract
Ağız sağlığı ile ilişkili yaşam kalitesi kavramı, bireyin, ağız sağlığının kendi yaşam kalitesi ve genel sağlığını üzerine olan etkisini bireysel olarak algılamasıdır. Ağız sağlığı ile ilişkili yaşam kalitesi sadece diş hekimliği klinik uygulamalarını veya araştırmalarını değerlendirilmek için değil daha geniş toplumsal yaşam kalitesi kavramını anlamak ve şekillendirmek için de araç olarak kullanılabilmektedir. Ağız sağlığı ile ilişkili yaşam kalitesinin ölçülmesi için pek çok farklı yöntem bulunmaktadır. Fakat bunların en sık kullanılanı anketlerdir. Bu makalede ağız sağlığı ilişkili yaşam kalitesi kavramı ve kullanılan ölçekler ile ilgili genel bilgilerin sunulması amaçlanmaktadır

Abstract
The concept of oral health related quality of life (OHRQOL) is the individual’s perception of the effect of oral health on his/ her quality of life and general health. OHRQOL can be used not only as a means of assessing clinical practice or research in dentistry, but also as a tool to understand and shape the concept of wider social quality of life. There are many different methods for measuring oral health-related quality of life. But these are the most frequently used questionnaires. In this article, it is aimed to give general information about oral health related quality of life concept and used indices
