Systemic Factors Affecting the Prognosis of Dental Implant Therapy

Year 2012, Volume: 6 Issue: 2, 1173 - 1180, 01.07.2012

Abstract

In recent years, oral implantology gained importance in the world of dentistry literature and is one of the most debated issues on international dental congresses. Medical assessment of the patient is a very significant part of oral implantology. Preoperative evaluation and preparation of the operation is as important as the surgical and prosthetic phases of implant therapy, and should be examined in detail. In this review, systemic diseases or drugs used in their treatment on the success of dental implant treatment were evaluated and the criteria to be taken into consideration is explained

Dental İmplant Tedavisinin Prognozunu Etkileyen Sistemik Faktörler

Year 2012, Volume: 6 Issue: 2, 1173 - 1180, 01.07.2012
