Abstract
Dentin hypersensitivity is a transient condition that often resolves with natural sclerotic obturation of dentin tubules. It is a common clinical finding that can cause considerable concern for the patient. Clinicians must understand the various etiological factors and numerous treatment options available. This review aims to evaluate the multi-factorial etiology of dentin hypersensitivity and in-office desensitizing agents applied by the dentist
