Primary Herpetic Gingivostomatitis

Year 2011, Volume: 5 Issue: 2, 903 - 907, 01.07.2011

Abstract

Herpes simplex virus infections are common vesicular eruptions of the skin and mucosa. Primary disease is usually seen in children. In this study three patients, who attented our clinic with the complaint of oral cankers were presented. One of the patients had also herpes digitalis. Primary herpetic gingivostomatitis was diagnosed by intraoral signs such as ulcerations on the vermillion, tongue and gingiva in addition to the systemic symptoms such as malaise and lymphadenopathy. Supportive treatment was adviced, patients were cautioned against spread of infection and a follow-up appointment was scheduled

Primer Herpetik Gingivostomatit

Year 2011, Volume: 5 Issue: 2, 903 - 907, 01.07.2011
