Endodontik Tedavi Varlığının Schneiderian Membran Üzerine Etkisinin Retrospektif Olarak Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmada öncelikli olarak Türk toplumunda endodontik tedavi varlığı, Schneiderian membran kalınlığı ve bunu ile beraber endodontik tedavi varlığının Schneiderian membran kalınlığı üzerine etkisinin Konik Işınlı Bilgisayarlı Tomografi (KİBT) ile değerlendirmek hedeflenmiştir.
Gereç ve Yöntem:
Çalışmamıza özel bir Görüntüleme Merkezine başvuran hastalardan elde edilen KİBT görüntüleri retrospektif olarak incelenmiştir. 18 yaş üstü 403 hastanın bilateral olarak posterior maksiller dişleri ve Schneiderian membran değişimleri değerlendirilmiştir. Endodontik tedavi varlığı ise; endodontik tedavi mevcut değil, endodontik tedavi varlığı, apikal lezyonlu diş (Endodontik tedavi uygulanmamış) olara üçe ayrılmıştır.
Bulgular
Çalışmaya 249 kadın 154 erkek olmak üzere toplamda 385 hasta, yani 770 maksiller sinüs dahil edilmiştir. İncelenen 385 hastanın minimum yaşı 18, maksimum yaşı 79, yaş ortalaması 46.56±15.39’dır. Toplam Schneiderian membran kalınlıkları 0 ile 44.2 mm arasında değişmekte olup, ortalaması 6.72±7.89, medyanı 3.2 mm’dir. Kanal tedavisi uygulanan diş sayısı 125, apikal lezyon tespit edilen diş sayısı 12’dir.
Sonuç
Endodontik tedavi yapılmış dişlere komşu olan maksiller dişsiz boşluklar değerlendirildiğinde Schneiderian membran ve endodontik tedavi varlığı dikkatlice incelenmelidir.
