cevaplarının azaltılmasında ve fiziksel yaralanmaların minimuma indirilmesinde yaygın olarak kullanılır.
Örneğin, balıkların yakalanması, ölçümlerinin yapılması, fotoğrafların çekimi, taşınması, aşılanması, sağımı,
markalanması ve cerrahi işlemleri gibi. Bu çalışmada, su ürünlerinde yaygın olarak kullanılan anesteziklerin
(Tricaine methanesulfonate, benzocaine, 2-phenoxyethanol, quinaldine, metomidate, karanfil yağı ve sedanol)
etkin dozları ve kullanım maliyetleri hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiştir.
