Damızlık Yaşının Etlik Piliçlerin Büyüme Performansı, Yürüme ve Göğüs Eti Özellikleri Üzerine Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada damızlık yaşının etlik piliçlerin büyüme, yürüme ve göğüs eti özellikleri üzerine olan etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma Ross 308 genotipine ait 32 haftalık genç (GD) ve 60 haftalık yaşlı (YD) damzılık sürülerden elde edilmiş karışık cinsiyette, her bir grupta 36 civcivin yer aldığı toplam 288 kanatlı ile yürütülmüştür. Çalışmanın 38.gününde piliçlerin yürüme skorları değerlendirilmiştir. Denemenin 42.gününde kesilen etlik piliçlerde et ve kemik özellikleri belirlenmiştir.
Araştırma sonucuna göre; YD civcivlerin başlangıç, 7, 14, 21 ve 28. günlerde GD civcivlere göre daha ağır olduğu belirlenmiştir. GD piliçler 35 ve 42. günde YD piliçler ile benzer ağırlığa ulaşmıştır. Damızlık yaşı 0-21 gün arasındaki dönemde yem tüketimi ve yemden yararlanma düzeyini etkilemiştir. Piliçlerde saptanan ileri düzeydeki yürüyüş bozukluklarının damızlık yaşından etkilenmediği, normal - akıcı yürüme düzeyinin YD piliçlerde daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada incelenen özellikler bakımından piliç göğüs etini normal değerler içerisinde olduğu ve bacak kemiği özelliklerinin damızlık yaşından etkilenmediği belirlenmiştir.
