Orbital Açısal Momentumun Manyetik Momente Katkısının Önemi: Önemli Bir Örnek Olarak Oktahedral Macrocyclic Co(II) Kompleksleri

Abstract

Yeni sentezlenmiş makrocyclic ligantta Co+2 iyonun manyetik özellikleri yarı teorik bir yaklaşımla araştırılmıştır. Hesaplamalar göstermiştir ki gözlemlenen sonucun elde edilebilmesi için manyetik Hamilton operatöründe bazı parametreler değişik değerler almalıdır. Hesaplamalar ve literatürdeki deneysel veriler bu yapının bozulmuş oktahedral bir geometrik yapıda olduğunu göstermektedir. Yine hesaplamalar göstermiştir ki manyetik momente hatırı sayılır miktarda orbital katkı da mevcuttur.

The Importance of Orbital Angular Momentum Contribution to Magnetic Moment: As an Important Example of Octahedral Macrocyclic Co(II) Complexes

Abstract

Magnetic properties of Co+2 ion on new synthesized macrocyclic ligand was investigated with semi-theoretical approach. Calculations have shown that some parameters of magnetic Hamilton operator must take different values in order to obtain observed results. Calculations and experimental datas in the literature show that this structure has distorted octehedral geometry. However, calculations show that there is considerable amount of orbital contribution to magnetic moment.
