Akutagawa Ryunosuke’s “Hana”- An Approach From The Point of View of the Self-Conscience Conception

Abstract

This paper aims to clarify the main reason for standing popularity of Ryunosuke Akutagava’s short story even at the present time. The story has always been analyzed through the selfishness concept. Whereas in this paper, selfishness is regarded as realization of the self. It is understood that the biggest obstacle against one’s realization of himself/herself is the authoritarian conscience. The basic reason for the ongoing popularity of the story is that the reader finds something from his/her own.

Akutagava Ryunosuke’nın “Burun” Adlı Öyküsüne Vicdan Kavramı Açısından Bir Bakış

Abstract

Akutagava Ryunosuke’nin “Burun” adlı öyküsü bugüne değin bencillik kavramı üzerinden ele alınmıştır. Bu yazıda ise bencillik, bireyin kendini gerçekleştirmesi olarak değerlendirilmiş, bireyin karşısındaki en büyük engelin ise otoriter vicdan olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Yayınlanmasının ardından yaklaşık yüz yıl geçmiş olmasına rağmen okuyucunun bu öyküyü hala beğenmesinin başlıca nedeni, öyküde kendinden bir şey bulmasıdır.
