Abstract

The subject of this study is carrying out a bibliometric analysis of the word "immigration". The aim of the study is to examine the publications that include the word "immigration". Within the scope of the study, bibliometric analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. 50,880 studies were analyzed by scanning the word "immigration" in the Web of Science database between 1975 and 2020. The main criteria evaluated in the study regarding the word "immigration" consist of study area, years, document types, institutions/organizations, authors, countries, and foreign languages. In addition to tables and figures, word cloud representation was used in the display of the data, and Orange software was used in word cloud analysis.

ULUSLARARASI ALAN İNDEKSLERİNDE GÖÇ YAZININA İLİŞKİN BİBLİYOMETRİK BİR ANALİZ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın konusu immigration (göç) kelimesinin bibliyometrik analizinin gerçekleştirilmesidir. Çalışmanın amacı; göç kelimesinin yer aldığı yayınların incelenmesidir. Çalışma kapsamında nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden bibliyometrik analiz kullanılmıştır. 1975-2020 yılları arasında Web Of Science veri tabanında göç kelimesinin taranması yoluyla ulaşılan 50.880 çalışmanın analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmada göç kelimesine ilişkin değerlendirilen başlıca kriterler; araştırma alanı, yıllar, doküman türleri, kurum/kuruluşlar, yazarlar, ülkeler ve yabancı dillerden oluşmaktadır. Verilerin gösteriminde tablo ve şekillerin yanı sıra kelime bulutu gösterimine yer verilmiş ve kelime bulutu analizinde Orange programından yararlanılmıştır.
