ADIYAMAN İLİNDE MERCİMEK HORTUMLU BÖCEĞİ (Sitona spp. Herbst.) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae)’NIN ZARAR DURUMU

Abstract

Baklagillerin tarımsal açıdan bir diğer önemi ise toprakta organik madde miktarını diğer kültür bitkileri azaltırken, baklagiller toprak altında meydana getirdiği kök ağı ile organik madde miktarının artmasına katkıda bulunurlar. Mercimek, baklagiller içinde yer alan ve bölgemizde yetiştirilen en önemli ürünlerin başında yer almaktadır. Mercimekte çeşitli biyotik ve abiyotik nedeniyle her yıl önemli bir verim kaybı gözlenmektedir. Bu zararlılardan Dolycoris baccarum L (Hemiptera; Pentetomidae) ve Piezodorus lituratus (F) (Hemiptera; Pentetomidae) tebeşirleşmeye neden olarak önemli verim kayıplarına neden olmaktadır. Adıyaman ili Merkez (Vartana ve Büyükkavaklı), Kahta (Ortanca ve Dut), Besni (Üçgöz ve Şambayat), Samsat (Çaybaşı ve Büyükbey) köylerinde mercimek alanlarında yapılan sürveyler sonucu her iki türün de ilimizde geniş alanlarda bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca D. baccarum’un P. lituratus’a göre çok daha yaygın ve yoğun olduğu belirlenmiştir. Mercimek yığınları altında yapılan sürveyler sonucunda en yüksek yoğunluk 2023 yılında Samsat ilçesi Büyükbey köyünde tespit edilirken en düşük yoğunluk 2022 yılında Merkez Büyükkaya köyünde tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan emgi analizleri sonucunda en yüksek tebeşirleşme oranı Samsat ilçesi Çaybaşı ve Büyükbey köylerinde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Adıyaman ilindeki tebeşirleşme oranı giderek de arttığı gözlenmiştir.

DAMAGE STATUS OF LENTIL HORNED SPIDER (Sitona spp. Herbst.) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) IN ADIYAMAN PROVINCE

Abstract

Another agricultural importance of legumes is that while other cultivated plants reduce the amount of organic matter in the soil, legumes contribute to the increase in the amount of organic matter with the root network they create under the soil. Lentil is one of the most important products among legumes and grown in our region. Due to various biotic and abiotic factors, significant yield loss is observed in lentils every year. Of these pests, Dolycoris baccarum L (Hemiptera; Pentetomidae) and Piezodorus lituratus (F) (Hemiptera; Pentetomidae) cause spot chalking and cause significant yield losses. As a result of surveys conducted in lentil fields in the villages of Adıyaman province Center (Vartana and Büyükkavaklı), Kahta (Ortanca and Dut), Besni (Üçgöz and Şambayat), Samsat (Çaybaşı and Büyükbey), it was determined that both species are found in large areas in our province. It was also determined that D. baccarum is much more widespread and dense than P. lituratus. As a result of surveys conducted under lentil piles, the highest density was detected in Samsat district Büyükbey village in 2023, while the lowest density was detected in Center Büyükkaya village in 2022. As a result of the kernel analyses, the highest spot chalking rate was determined to be in Samsat district Çaybaşı and Büyükbey villages. It was observed that the spot chalking rate in Adıyaman province was gradually increasing.
