The primary aim of Aquatic Environment and Technology is to contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge on marine and freshwater environments, to investigate natural and anthropogenic processes occurring within these environments through an interdisciplinary perspective, and to disseminate scientific and technological research on the monitoring, management, and sustainable use of aquatic systems to national and international academic communities. By establishing a strong link between basic science, applied research, and technology-based approaches, the journal aims to promote the dissemination of original, innovative, and high-quality scientific studies addressing the biological, physical, and environmental dynamics of aquatic ecosystems.
Aquatic Environment and Technology is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published in Turkish and English, focusing on aquatic environments and scientific and technological research related to these environments. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, short communications, and Letters to the Editor.
The scope of the journal encompasses research on the biological, physical, chemical, and ecological characteristics of marine and freshwater environments, as well as scientific and technological studies addressing the monitoring, assessment, conservation, management, and sustainable use of these environments. Aquatic Environment and Technology welcomes both fundamental and applied research on aquatic systems, as well as interdisciplinary studies in engineering, environmental sciences, fisheries, aquaculture, and the application of emerging technologies to aquatic environments.
