Afro Eurasian Studies Journal Writing Rules [ISSN: 2147-110X]

The material submitted for publication may not be previously published or accepted for publication by another publisher.

1. Title of the Article: The title should suit the content and express, and should be written in bold letters. in 12 Punto Palatino Linotype each word.

2. Author Name and Institution Information: Author name and institution information should not be written as they will go to the study referees who will be installed on the system. The article must be typed exactly as it appears in the Name, Surname, Organization Information (ENG), email and Orcid ID before receiving the final approval.

3. Abstract: The article should include an abstract in Turkish at the beginning. The abstract should explain the topic clearly and concisely in a minimum of 200 and a maximum of 250 words. The abstract should not include references to sources, figures and charts. 

4. Keywords:  Keywords of 5 to 8 words should be placed at the end of the abstract. Each word of the keywords must be written in Capital letters and a comma must be used between them.

5. Body Text: The texts sent, pictures, maps etc. should not exceed 35 journal pages (9,000 words), including the attachments. Written letters should be written in A4 size with white space at the top, bottom, right 4 cm and 5 cm from the left side with "at least 12nk" line spacing, two sides, without line hyphenation and 10 points "Palatino Linotype" font. (For detailed and visual information, the "journal page layout example" should be looked at on the layout page.) However, the submitted tables, figures, pictures, graphics and the like should not exceed 12x17 cm in order for the magazine not to go beyond the page dimensions and to be easier to use. For this reason, tables, figures, pictures, graphics and so on. smaller points and single spacing can be used in the elements. The "APA" system will be used for footnotes and references.

6 Section Titles: In the article, main, intermediate and subtitles can be used in order to provide compatibility with the content. These headings should be written in Capitalized Word.

6. Tables and Figures: Tables should have numbers and captions. The tables, figures, pictures, graphics and the like sent to the journal must not exceed 12x17 cm in order for the magazine not to go beyond the page dimensions and to be used more easily. For this reason, tables, figures, pictures, graphics and so on. smaller points and single spacing can be used in the elements.

7. Pictures: Pictures should be attached to the articles scanned in high-resolution print quality. The same rules for figures and tables apply in naming pictures.

The number of pages for figures, tables and pictures should not exceed 10 pages (one-third of the article). Authors having the necessary technical equipment and software may themselves insert their figures, drawings and pictures into the text provided these are ready for printing.

8. Quotations and Citations::  Direct quotations should be placed in quotation marks. Quotations shorter than 3 lines should be placed within the flowing text. If the quotation is longer that 3 lines, it should be turned into a block quote with a 1.5 cm indentation on the right and left, and the font size should be 9 punto. Footnotes and endnotes should be avoided as much as possible. They should only be used for essential explanations and should be numbered (Office Word) automatically.

PUBLICATION ETHICS

The publication process at Afro Eurasian Studies Journal is the basis of the improvement and dissemination of information objectively and respectfully. Therefore, the procedures in this process improve the quality of the studies. Peer-reviewed studies are the ones that support and materialize the scientific method. At this point, it is of utmost importance that all parties included in the publication process (authors, readers and researchers, publisher, reviewers and editors) comply with the standards of ethical considerations.Afro Eurasian Studies Journal expects all parties to hold the following ethical responsibilities.

The following ethical duties and responsibilities are written in the light of the guide and policies made by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, and the publisher.

1. Publication and authorship:

List of references, financial support;
No plagiarism, no fraudulent data;
Forbidden to publish same research in more than one journal.

2. Author’s responsibilities:

Authors obliged to participate in peer review process;
All authors have significantly contributed to the research;
Statement that all data in article are real and authentic;
All authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.

3. Peer review / responsibility for the reviewers:

Judgments should be objective;
Reviewers should have no conflict of interest with respect to the research, the authors and/or the research funders;
Reviewers should point out relevant published work which is not yet cited;
Reviewed articles should be treated confidentially.

4. Editorial responsibilities:

Editors have complete responsibility and authority to reject/accept an article;
Editors should have no conflict of interest with respect to articles they reject/accept;
Only accept a paper when reasonably certain;
When errors are found, promote the publication of correction or retraction;
Preserve the anonymity of reviewers.
No plagiarism, no fraudulent data.

Duties of the Publisher
Afro Eurasian Studies Journal is committed to ensuring that commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions. In addition, CTJ will assist in communications with other journals and/or publishers where this is useful to editors. Finally, we are working closely with other publishers and industry associations to set standards for best practices on ethical matters, errors and retractions–and are prepared to provide specialized legal review and counsel if necessary.

Plagiarism Detection

Afro Eurasian Studies Journal uses double-blind review fulfilled by at least two reviewers. In addition, all articles are checked by means of a program in order to confirm they are not published before and avoid plagiarism.

The peer review process is at the heart of the success of scientific publishing. As part of our commitment to the protection and enhancement of the peer review process, CTJ has an obligation to assist the scientific community in all aspects of publishing ethics, especially in cases of (suspected) duplicate submission or plagiarism.

Scope

In this Journal, Journal of Afro Eurasian Studies, Afika, European and Asian geography in the fields of Politics, Economics, Business Administration, Economics, Public International Relations in the fields of politics, economics, literature, translation, translation, translation and translation. articles are published.

Afro Eurasian Studies Journal 3 (four) issues are published annually.

Review of Articles

*Afro Eurasian Studies Journal accepts paper submission from researchers with only doctoral degrees in research articles and book review.

Articles submitted to Afro Eurasian Studies Journal are first reviewed by the Editorial Board in terms of the journal's publishing principles.

Article Preliminary Review Form

Those found unsuitable are returned to their authors for revision.

Academic objectivity and scientific quality are considered as paramount importance.

Submissions found suitable are referred to three referees working in relevant fields. The names of the referees are kept confidential and referee reports are archived for five years. If one of the referee reports is positive and the other is negative, the article may be forwarded to a third referee for further assessment or alternatively, the Editorial Board may make a final decision based on the nature of the three reports. The authors are responsible for revising their articles in line with the criticism and suggestions made by the referees and the Editorial Board. If they disagree with any issues, they may make an objection by providing clearly-stated reasons. Submissions which are not accepted for publication are not returned to their authors.

Evaluation Form

Afro Eurasian Studies Journal does not charge any article submission, processing charges, and printing charge from the authors.

Copyright

We request that authors transfer (assign) the copyright in their articles to Afro Eurasian Studies Journal before publication. This ensures that we have the right to work with, reproduce and to make your article available to readers. This is the case whether you have chosen to publish on a subscription-only or on a gold open access basis. Following the submission of your article, we will ask you to electronically submit an Assignment of Copyright form.The assignment of copyright in your article is effective only from the date on which the article is accepted for publication. If you withdraw your article, or if it is not accepted, the transfer does not take effect.

The main features of the copyright assignment are that:

authors transfer the worldwide copyright in their work to CUID Publishing in all formats and media;

authors assert their moral right to be identified as the authors of the article;

for subscription-only articles, CUID grants back to authors certain rights for the future use of their own work, for example, self-archiving rights; for full details please see the Copyright FAQ;

Preparation and Submissions

Submissions to Afro Eurasian Studies Journal should be original articles evaluating previous studies in the field and should produce new and worthwhile ideas and perspectives.

Manuscripts should be between 4000 and 9000 words in length (including references, tables, and figures).

Divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1.1 (then 1.1.1, 1.1.2, ...), 1.2, etc. (the abstract is not included in section numbering). Use this numbering also for internal cross-referencing: do not just refer to 'the text'. Any subsection may be given a brief heading. Each heading should appear on its own separate line.

State the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.

Results should be clear and concise.

An article to be published in Afro Eurasian Studies Journal should not have been previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere.

Papers presented at a conference or symposium may be accepted for publication if this is clearly indicated.
