Post-polypectomy coagulation syndrome: A case with descending colon involvement.

Öz

In this article, we present a 52-year-old male patient who developed post-polypectomy coagulation syndrome 6 hours after hot snare polypectomy for a polyp located in the distal descending colon. The patient was followed up in the inpatient clinic for 48 hours with intravenous hydration and antibiotic therapy and was discharged after his complaints regressed and he became able to tolerate a clear liquid diet. It contains valuable information about remembering post-polypectomy coagulation syndrome and its management in patients who have polyp resection during colonoscopy and develop abdominal pain after the procedure.

Polipektomi sonrası koagulasyon sendromu: İnen kolon tutulumu olan vaka

Öz

Bu yazıda, inen kolon distalinde yer alan polip için hot snare polipektomi yapıldıktan 6 saat sonra polipektomi sonrası koagulasyon sendromu gelişen 52 yaşındaki erkek hasta sunulmaktadır. intravenöz hidrasyon ve antibiyotik tedavisi ile 48 saat yataklı klinikte takip edilen hasta şikayetlerinin gerilemesi ve likit berrak diyeti tolare eder hale gelmesi üzerine taburcu edilmiştir. Kolonoskopi işlemi sırasında polip rezeksiyonu yapılan ve işlemden sonra karın ağrısı gelişen hastalarda polipektomi sonrası koagulasyon sendromunun hatırlanması ve sendromun yönetimi ile ilgili değerli bilgiler içermektedir.
