Abstract

Synchronous esophageal and gastric cancer is a rare occurrence. With the advances in imaging techniques, this coexistence can be diagnosed more frequently. Synchronous occurrence of primary cancers is known to have worse survival expectations, therefore necessitating a change in the treatment approach. We hereby present a 78-year-old male patient admitting with dysphagia.

Senkronize primer özofagus ve gastrik tümör: Olgu sunumu ve literatürün gözden geçirilmesi

Abstract

Senkron özofagus ve gastrik kanser nadir görülmektedir. Görüntüleme yöntemindeki ilerlemeler ile bu birliktelik daha sıklıkla teşhis edilmektedir. Primer kanserlerin senkronize olarak bulunması tedavi yaklaşımında değişikliğe neden olmaktadır ve survileri daha kötü olarak bilinir. Yazımızda 78 yaşında yutma güçlüğü yakınması ile başvuran erkek olgu sunulmuştur.
