A jejunal non-hodgkin's lymphoma: Initial presentation of celiac disease

Abstract

A well known rare advanced complication of celiac disease is development of intestinal lymphoma. Furthermore, because of most celiac patients are asymptomatic or have atypical findings, recognization of these patients and disease related complications may be late and difficult. Therefore, we wanted to report a case, when applied to us with atypical findings and we determined jejunal mass and after then celiac disease, and enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma after surgical excision.

Jejunal non-hodgkin lenfoma ile ortaya çıkan çölyak hastalığı

Abstract

Çölyak hastalığının ileri dönemindeki iyi bilinen komplikasyonları ndan biri, ince barsak lenfoması gelişimi olup, nadir görülmektedir. Ayrıca çölyak hastalarının büyük kısmı belirtisiz veya tipik olmayan bulgulara sahip olduğu için, bu hastaların veya hastalıkla ilişkili komplikasyonların tanınması da oldukça geç ve zor olmaktadır. Bu nedenle bize tipik olmayan bulgularla başvurduğunda, jejunal kitle ve çölyak hastası olduğunu saptadığımız ve cerrahi rezeksiyon sonrası barsakla ilişkili T hücreli lenfoma tespit ettiğimiz olgumuzu sunmak istedik.
