Author Guidelines
FOOTNOTES
Explanations should not be made in footnotes, but in the text. If explanatory notes still prove necessary, a number formatted in superscript should be inserted to the upper right at the end of the word or sentence, the same number should be given under the heading of Footnotes after the Findings section. Along with its title, footnotes should be typed in font size 9, single spaced.
CHECK LIST FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION
In the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
☐ | The submission has not been previously published, nor is it being considered by another journal or as a chapter in a book. |
☐ | The submission is not on the publication process of another journal. |
☐ | The submission file is in Microsoft Word. |
☐ | The manuscript follows APA 6th Edition guidelines. |
☐ | The manuscript does not contain author’s information and institutional affiliations. The manuscript’s and all authors’ introductory information and corresponding author’s information (without abbreviations) are reported through the system. |
☐ | The paper margins of the manuscript is set as 2,5 cm on all sides. |
☐ | The font type of the text is Times New Roman and font size is 12, double spaced. |
☐ | Paragraphs are justified and indented 1, 25 cm. |
☐ | In Turkish manuscripts Turkish and English titles and abstracts are provided. |
☐ | In English manuscripts Turkish title and abstract is provided. |
☐ | Key words are given after the Abstract. |
☐ | Tables and Figures are sequentially numbered and source is provided, if cited. |
☐ | Citations adhere to the notes and referencing style of APA style 6th edition. |
☐ | Each reference cited in the text appears in the reference list and vice versa. |
☐ | List of references was written using the APA style 6th edition |
☐ | Declaration of Ethical Responsibility and Copy Right Form are read and approved by all co-authors. |
COPYRIGHT NOTICE
Manuscripts should not have been submitted for publication nor has it been published elsewhere. Upon acceptance of the article, all copyright ownership is transferred to the Journal of Gazi University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. In case of a citation, the source has to be given. The right for republication of the published articles requires the journal’s permission.
