Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı; görevden alınan okul müdürlerinin öğretmenliğe dönüş sürecine yönelik görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemiyle desenlenmiştir. Veriler
görüşme tekniği ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu yasal düzenleme sonucunda görevden alınmış olan on okul müdürü oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda katılımcıların görüşleri çerçevesinde üç ana tema tespit edilmiştir. Bu temalar; kayıplar, öğretmenlik sürecinde karşılaşılan sorunlar ve olumlu taraflar olarak belirtilebilir. Çoğu katılımcı kayıplar teması altında maddi kayıplardan şikâyetçi olmuşlardır. Karşılaşılan sorunlar teması altında ise yeni müfredata uyum sağlayamamak dikkat çekmektedir. Olumlu taraflar teması ise sorumluluğun azalması olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda görevden alınan yöneticilerin farklı bir göreve verilmeleri ya da bir uyum sürecinden sonra öğretmenliğe dönmelerinin daha verimli olabileceği önerilmektedir.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine principals’ views towards returning to teaching. This study was designed with qualitative research method. The data was obtained with interview technique.
The study group of research was comprised of ten principals who were dismissed within the scope of regulation. As a result of the views of the research participants, three main themes were identified. These themes were determined as; losses, teaching problems in the process and the positive side. Under the theme of losses, most of the participants were complaining of financial losses. Under the theme of problems, most of the participants cannot adapt to the new curriculum. On the positive side theme, it was identified as the reduction of the responsibility. As a result of study, it is suggested that principals is given a different task, or returning to teaching after the adaptation process may be more efficient.
