Abstract
Ku Hung-Ming'in 1915 yılında yayımlanan "Çin Halkının Zihniyeti" kitabı, Batı dünyasının sıklıkla yanlış anladığı Çin toplumunun derinlemesine bir analizini sunmaktadır. Kitap, Çin halkının zihniyetini ve kültürel değerlerini çeşitli temalar üzerinden ele almaktadır. Ku Hung-Ming, Çinli bir baba ve Portekizli bir annenin oğlu olarak Batı'da aldığı eğitimle Çin kültürüne benzersiz bir bakış açısı sunmaktadır. Eserde, Konfüçyüsçü değerlerin bireyler ve toplum üzerindeki etkileri ayrıntılı bir şekilde analiz edilmektedir. Kitabın ek bölümünde ise Avrupa’daki sosyal ve politik sorunlar, savaşın kökenleri ve çözüm yolları Çin bakış açısıyla ele alınmıştır.
