From past to present, health has been an important phenomenon for individuals to continue their vital activities. An unhealthy individual will not benefit the society, and a good health system affects the quality of life of the individuals living in the society. Being healthy is one of the most basic rights of every individual. One of the main purposes of health care is to improve the quality of life of individuals. This study, which examines the health system in our country and the health service activities offered in this context, is a qualitative compilation study prepared with document analysis. The study was handled by the literature review method on national and international sources. Due to the general structure of health services; In this study, the basic features of health services, their classification in our country, and the health service activities offered on the current health system of our country are included in the study. According to the findings obtained; The Turkish health system, which has a deep-rooted health organization throughout historical periods, has been a system that adopts the understanding of the social state in the provision of health services. The developments in health service activities in recent years have brought the private sector with it. However, as in many countries, a mixed health system in which the public and private sectors take place together is used in Turkey. The reforms made in the Turkish health system, the positive developments in the health services offered in public and private hospitals, and the attainment of international standards in the provision of health services have caused our country to make a name for itself around the world. Health services, in terms of its subject and scope, include activities that concern individuals in the society. Health services offered; Preventive health services are classified as Therapeutic health services and Rehabilitation services. It seems possible for individuals to be healthy and live in a healthy environment through the effective provision of health services. It is expected that this compilation study will be a guide in explaining the health system of our country and the health services it provides and will be useful for future studies.
