Article Types
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
• Original Research Articles: Present the results of research conducted using scientific methods. Data and methodologies must be clearly described.
Maximum: 3,500 words, 250-word abstract, 6 tables, 6 figures, 80 references.
• Review Articles: Provide a critical overview of the current literature on a specific topic and may include systematic reviews or meta-analyses. They may be submitted independently or by invitation.
Maximum: 4,000 words, 250-word abstract, 6 tables, 6 figures, 100 references.
• Case Reports: Describe rare, novel, or educational clinical cases. The emphasis should be on original aspects that contribute to the literature.
Maximum: 1,500 words, 150-word abstract, 1 table, 3 figures, 15 references.
• Letters to the Editor: Short communications providing commentary, critique, or questions related to articles published in the journal.
Maximum: 1,000 words, no abstract, no tables or figures, 10 references.
• Research Notes: Concise reports presenting preliminary findings, technical innovations, or brief observational data. Suitable for the rapid communication of focused scientific contributions.
Maximum: 2,000 words, 250-word structured abstract, 2 tables, 2 figures, 25 references.
