Abstract

Marksist Eleştiri, Karl Marks (5 Mayıs 1818-14 Mart 1983) ve Fredrich Engels (28 Kasım 1820-5 Ağustos 1895) tarafından geliştirilen ideoloji ve kültür eleştirisine dayalı bir eleştiri anlayışının adıdır. Marks ve Engels edebî ve kültürel eleştiricilikle doğrudan ilgilenmezken, onların takipçileri edebiyat ve kültür eleştiriciliği üzerinde oldukça dikkat çekici araştırmalar yapmışlardır. Meşhur sosyal demokrat Franz Mehring32 (27 Şubat 1846-29 Ocak 1919) edebiyat ve drama araştırmalarının önemi üzerinde dururken, Lenin, Trotzky, Mao ve diğer Marksistler ise sanatın ve kültürün devrim üzerine yansımalarını ele alan çalışmalar gerçekleştirmişledir. Fakat Batı dünyasında Marksist eleştiriye en fazla katkı yapan isimler bunlar değildir. Batı eleştiri dünyasında Marksist Eleştiri deyince, Goerg Lukacs, Antonio Gramsci, Walter Benjamin, Louis Althusser, Ernst Block, T.W. Adorno, Jean Paul Satre, Lucien Goldmann ve Herbert Marcuse gibi isimler akla gelir.
