Akdeniz Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi?nde Uygulanan Toplumsal Duyarlılık Projeleri ile İlgili Öğrencilerin Görüşleri

Abstract

Amaç: Toplumsal Duyarlılık Projeleri TDP öğrencilere sosyal sorumluluk becerilerini geliştirmek için olanaklar sağlar. TDP’ler Akdeniz Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nde 2006-2007 eğitim-öğretim yılında uygulanmaya başlanmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı, TDP’ler hakkında öğrencilerin görüşlerinin alınmasıdır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu çalışmanın verileri TDP’lere katılan öğrencilerden toplanmıştır. Toplam 150 öğrenci TDP’lerle ilgili geribildirim vermişlerdir. Öğrenci anketi 11 sorudan oluşmaktadır.Bulgular: Öğrencilerin % 71,2’si TDP’leri yararlı bulmuştur. TDP hakkında öğrencilerin % 69,4’nün görüşleri olumludur. Öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğunun TDP’lerin sorumluluk bilinci ve iletişim becerilerine katkı sağladığını düşündüğü bulunmuştur.Sonuç: Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğrenciler TDP’lerin yararlı olduğunu belirtmiştir

Opinion of Students on Social Responsibility Projects at the Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine

Abstract

Objective: Social Responsibility Projects SRPs provide opportunities for students to develop their social responsibility skills and to determine areas of interest. SRPs were first introduced at the Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in the 2007-2008 educational year. The aim of this study was to evaluate the opinions of the students on SRPs.Material and Methods: This was a descriptive study. Data were collected from students who had participated in the SRPs. A total of 150 students provided feedback about the effectiveness of SRPs. The student questionnaire consisted of 11 questions.Results: The students stated that SRPs were very beneficial 71.2% and their perception and opinions were positive 69.4% . Most students had positive thoughts about the benefits of SRPs, especially for communication skills and responsibility.Conclusion: The students stated that SRPs were very beneficial
