Olgu Sunumları için Joanna Briggs Enstitüsü (JBI) Eleştirel (Kritik) Değerlendirme Kontrol Listesi’nin Türkçe’ye Uyarlanması

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma ile olgu sunumu tasarımındaki çalışmaların kalitesini değerlendirmek için Joanna Briggs Enstitüsü (JBI) tarafından geliştirilen “JBI Olgu Sunumları İçin Eleştirel (Kritik) Değerlendirme Kontrol Listesi”nin Türkçe’ye uyarlaması amaçlanmıştır. JBI Critical Appraisal Checklist for Case Reports Gereç ve Yöntemler: Eleştirel değerlendirme aracının dil eşdeğerliği, geri-çevrim yöntemiyle sağlanmış ve kapsam geçerliği uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda incelenmiştir. Güvenirlik ise gözlemciler arası tutarlılık ile analiz edilmiştir. Uzman görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesinde kapsam geçerlik indeksi (KGİ) kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca, aracın tutarlılık ve güvenilirği, sınıf içi korelasyon katsayısı (ICC) ve Kappa analizi ile belirlenmiştir. Değerlendiriciler arasındaki ilişki ise Spearman Korelasyon analizi ile gözden geçirilmiştir. Bulgular: Uzman değerlendirmelerine göre KGİ değeri 0,92 olarak bulunmuştur. Gözlemciler arası uyumda hesaplanan ICC değerinin p=0.000 düzeyinde anlamlı ve 0,946 olarak elde edilmiştir. Kappa katsayısı 0,697 olarak bulunmuştur. Değerlendiriciler arasındaki ilişki r=0,826 (p<.05) olarak hesaplanmıştır. Sonuç: Türkçe’ye uyarlanan “JBI Olgu Sunumları İçin Kalite Değerlendirme Aracı”nın olgu sunumu tasarımına sahip çalışmaların kalitesini değerlendirmede kullanılabilecek tutarlı ve güvenilir bir araç olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Adaptation of The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Critical Appraisal Checklist for Case Reports into Turkish

Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study was to adapt the ‘JBI Critical Appraisal Checklist for Case Reports’ developed by the Joanna Briggs Institute to assess the quality of case report design studies into Turkish. Materials and Methods: The language equivalence of the critical appraisal tool was ensured by the back-translation method and content validity was examined in line with expert opinions. Reliability was analysed by inter-observer consistency. Content validity index (CVI) was used in the evaluation of expert opinions. In addition, the consistency and reliability of the tool were determined by intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and Kappa analysis. The relationship between the raters was reviewed by Spearman correlation analysis. Results: According to the expert evaluations, the ICC value was found to be 0.92. The ICC value calculated for inter-rater agreement was found to be 0.946 and significant at p=0.000 level. Kappa coefficient was found as 0.697. The relationship between the raters was calculated as r=0.826 (p<.05). Conclusion: It was determined that the ‘JBI Critical Appraisal Checklist for Case Reports’ adapted into Turkish is a consistent and reliable tool that can be used to assess the quality of studies with case report design.
