Kronik Böbrek Yetmezliği Olan Hipertansif Hastada Posterior Reversible Ensefalopati Sendromu: Olgu Sunumu

Year 2018, Volume: 4 Issue: 3, 304 - 306, 01.01.2018

Abstract

Posterior reversibl ensefalopati sendromu klinik nöroradyolojik bir sendrom olup, T2 ağırlıklı manyetik rezonans görüntülemede bilateral pariyetooksipital loblarda simetrik yüksek sinyal yoğunluğu lezyonları ile karakterizedir. Bizim olgumuzda ani görme kaybı şikayeti ile başvuran hipertansiyon ve kronik böbrek yetmezliği olan periton diyalizi tedavisi alan ve posterior reversibl ensefalopati sendromu PRES gelişen 36 yaşında kadın hasta sunulmuştur. Acil hekimleri hipertansiyon ile ilişkili nörolojik semptomları olan özellikle kronik böbrek yetmezliği hastalarında hipertansif acil durumlar hakkında dikkatli olmalı ve eşlik edebilecek uç organ hasarlarını akılda bulundurmalıdır

Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome in a Hypertensive Chronic Renal Failure Patient: Case Report

Year 2018, Volume: 4 Issue: 3, 304 - 306, 01.01.2018

Abstract

Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome is a cliniconeuroradiologic syndrome characterized by symmetrical high-signal intensity lesions in bilateral parietooccipital lobes on T2-weighted magnetic resonance imaging. In this case presentation, we discuss a 36-year-old female with hypertensive chronic renal failure treated by peritoneal dialysis who presented to our emergency department with the complaint of visual loss. Emergency physicians should be aware of end organ damage in patients with neurological symptoms related to hypertension and this is especially important in patients with chronic renal failure and hypertension
