Akciğer Tüberkülozlu Hastaların Bronkoalveolar Lavajında İL-12, İFN-? ve sİL-2 Düzeyleri

Year 2019, Volume: 5 Issue: 1, 112 - 115, 01.01.2019

Abstract

IL-12, IFN-γ and sIL-2 Levels in Bronchoalveolar Lavage of Patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Year 2019, Volume: 5 Issue: 1, 112 - 115, 01.01.2019

Abstract

Objective: We aimed to compare cytokine levels IL-12, IFN-γ and IL-2 , thought to reflect local immunologic response, in sputum smear positive and negative patients by measuring them in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid in this study.Material and Methods: The study had a retrospective design. A total of 24 tuberculosis patients who were examined and treated at Yedikule Chest Diseases and Chest Surgery Training and Research Hospital between October 1998 and February 1999 were included. Patients without pulmonary malignancy and tuberculosis who had undergone bronchoscopy for other reasons were included as the control group. Results: When the IL-12, IFN-γ and sIL-2 levels were compared in the patient and control groups, the IL-12 and IFN-γ levels were found to show a significant difference p: 0.02 and p
