Nadir Görülen Bir Klinik Olgu: Paratestiküler Bölgenin Adenomatoid Tümörü

Year 2019, Volume: 5 Issue: 2, 376 - 379, 01.01.2019

Abstract

A Rare Clinical Case: Adenomatoid Tumor of the Paratesticular Region

Year 2019, Volume: 5 Issue: 2, 376 - 379, 01.01.2019

Abstract

Adenomatoid tumors are rare benign tumors usually found in the genital tract of males and females. They account for approximately 30% of paratesticular tumors in men and are most frequently seen in the 3rd and 4th decades. Although most cases do not have symptoms, the most common application is the presence of a painless palpable mass. It is not possible to radiologically differentiate these masses from malignant tumors. Insufficiencies in preoperative evaluations generally lead to unnecessary orchiectomies which makes these adenomatoid tumors important from the point of view of urologists. We will present this rarely-observed entity in a 38-year-old male patient
