Akdeniz Theology Journal aims to provide an open access academic environment where qualified scholarly studies in the fields of Social Sciences, Humanities and Religious Sciences can be shared. The aim of the journal is to contribute to science by publishing high quality publications of scientific importance. For this purpose, original research articles, reviews, book reviews, symposium reviews and letters to the editor are published in the fields of religious studies (Social Sciences and Humanities/Religion). Religious Studies is an independent, double-blind peer-reviewed, open access and online journal that aims to publish articles in the fields of Religious Studies. Articles should describe original data that have not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts that are deemed suitable for the submission rules of Akdeniz Theology Journal and the scope of the journal are sent to at least two referees who are experts in their fields for scientific evaluation. The final decision for all submitted manuscripts belongs to the Editor-in-Chief. The Editorial Board of Akdeniz Theology Journal is committed to comply with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) criteria.

The target audience of Akdeniz Theology Journal is academicians, experts, researchers, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students interested in social, humanities and religious sciences.

Text Submissions:
The texts submitted to the journal should be appropriate to the purpose and scope of the journal. The submitted texts must be original, must not have been published before and must not have been taken into the evaluation process by another periodical. Texts submitted after the article acceptance date specified on the journal's website will not be evaluated.
More than one study by one author will not be published in the same issue.
