Conspiracy theories are one of the most notable issues of recent times. The emergence and spread of the coronavirus and the vaccine program produced within the scope of combating the virus result in an increase in conspiracies. It can be said that conspiracy theories, produced in different forms in different fields, have gained a public character. Although those who set up the conspiracy scenarios seem like singular subjects, the issue also has social dimensions. In this respect, there are connections between the logic of conspiracies and the social context of the periods and forms of knowledge. In this context, the analysis of conspiracy theories taking into account the general characteristics of the periods they emerged from will contribute to the discussions in the field. This article focuses on the relationship between conspiracy theories and social context and evaluates conspiracies and superstitions within the framework of the socio logy of knowledge. The article brings up the thesis that the conspiracies is caused by the difference of social, political and cultural structures which time lived in the. The study, whose theoretical framework consists of the theses of the sociology of knowledge emphasizing the relationship between knowledge and social context, is an analysis attempt that examines the relational aspects of conspiracies with social context. In the article, analyzes within the scope of conspiracies and sociology of knowledge are made based on the available literature.
