Abstract
One of the current tasks of the contemporary literature review is the study of the intercultural literary process that occurs as a result of the interaction of two or more cultures. In cultural studies, intercultural communication is particularly important, possible interactions of various cultural traditions. In other words, it is a development that emerges naturally as a result of the interaction of a foreign culture with the society, that is, we begin to perceive a culture that we see as foreign over time as a part of ourselves. At the same time, comparative and general international literary relations form the basis of comparative literary criticism, which analyzes their regularities. We can see such comparative literary connections in Russian and Eastern Literature. Comparing the literature of different peoples, including Russian and Eastern Arab, reveals the principle of national differentiation of culture with its characteristic unique features. In Russian writer A.S. Pushkin's works, the East appears in the context of Islamic culture. The East is perceived by the poet as a different world with cultural value, self-worth. In this study, we try to explain the effects of the literary and philosophical, religious and ethical works of Russian writers, especially Russia's great writer Lev Tolstoy, on Eastern Arab literature and public thought.
