Abstract
Today, the Kaşkay Turks living in the south of Iran, in the Kaşkay Province region whose center is Shiraz, are one of the Turkish peoples who maintain the Turkish culture in the Iranian geography. Kaşkay Turks, who have great importance in the lives of art and literature, especially poetry, are among the Oghuz Turks; Kaşkay Turkish is also one of the Turkish dialects of the Oguz group.
Today, the poems of Mirza Mezun, who is the owner of the most beautiful poems written and sung in Kaşkay Turkish, live in the memory of Kaşkay Turks, from small to large. Of course, Mezun is one of the most prominent names in Kaşkay literature. The poems of Mezun, who lived in the 19th century, lived in the oral literatures of the Kaşkay Turks, who adopted a nomadic lifestyle for many years, were passed down from generation to generation and were compiled and recorded in the middle of the 20th century.
Mezun’s poems, who use a clean Turkish in his poems, have a rich range of poems on various themes.
