Museology is an interdisciplinary field of social science, which begins with the creation of individual collections, continues with preservation, preservation and exhibition, and then diversifies its activities by considering the education of the public. In the 21st century, society-oriented museology activities in which human and therefore human needs are taken into consideration; strives to undertake an inclusive, democratic, participatory task. The limitations of formal education have led to the existence of informal education elements in contemporary education. It has begun to be designed as museums, science centers, nature parks and alternative learning environments. New learning methods generally offer a student-centered perspective. Therefore, museums enriched with real stimulants have reached a new concept with attempts to be established in a part of the school so that students can acquire new experiences with their previous experiences and be educated in a permanent quality. A number of museums equipped with systems that allow students to act responsibly in the activities with document, object, concept interaction bring the fact of acting on a new plane as a result of observing scientific and artistic activities with more successful results. One of the extraordinary examples of museology studies is the Private Saint Joseph French High School Natural Sciences Museum, which was founded in 1910. In this Museum, insects, stone fragments, historical animal, mineral, plant collections and some of the collections belonging to Robert College are exhibited. These collections reveal the biodiversity of Turkey. The conditions for the opening of the "School Museum" in Turkey have been matured on a legal basis with an official regulation. In this research, document analysis and data collection method were used. In addition, in the Natural Sciences Museum of the Private Saint Joseph French High School, which was established with the cooperation of the School-Museum, the importance of reinforcing the theoretical knowledge and practical experiences in the course curriculum of this high school is emphasized in the natural sciences museum.
