Hatay ve Çevresinde Çevresel Gama Radyasyon Ölçümü

Abstract

Hatay ve çevresinde havada yapılan ölçümlerde gama doz seviyelerini belirlemek için 183 farklı noktada yerden yaklaşık 1 m yükseklikte, cihazın belli bir dengeye gelebilmesi için 2 dakika beklendikten sonra ölçümler alınmıştır. Ölçümler ucuna SPA-6 model plastik sintilasyon dedektörü bağlanmış Eberline Smart Portable (ESP-2) model bir cihaz kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Açık havada soğurulan gama doz oranı (ADR), gama doz kullanılarak radyoçekirdeklerin varlığına bağlı, havadaki yıllık etkin doz oranı (AEDE) ve yaşam boyu kanser risk değerleri (YFKR) belirlendi. Hatay ve çevresinde dış gama dozu kullanılarak, gama doz ölçümlerinin aritmetik ortalaması 61,9 nGy/h, yıllık etkin doz eşdeğerinin ortalama değeri ise 75,91 μSv/y olarak bulunmuştur. Bu çalışmada sunulan sonuçlar, Türkiye'nin farklı bölgelerinde yapılan benzer çalışmaların sonuçları ve dünya ortalamaları ile karşılaştırılmıştır
