Afyon Kocatepe University Journal of Science and Engineering is a peer-reviewed scientific journal aimed at bringing high-quality academic studies in the fields of basic sciences and engineering to the scientific community in accordance with international standards. Since its inception, our journal has accepted studies in a wide range of disciplines, including basic sciences such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, as well as engineering fields such as civil, mining, mechanical, materials, food, and electrical-electronics engineering. The journal exclusively considers scientific research articles with international originality for evaluation. The publication languages of the journal are Turkish and English. Scientific articles presenting new methods, new technologies, significant improvements, new application areas, and those demonstrating a distinct contribution to national and international literature are among the priority publications of our journal. Other types of submissions, such as reviews, general evaluations, technical reports, survey results and routine engineering works, are not considered for evaluation and are returned by the Editorial Board. Published six times a year (February, April, June, August, October, and December) to ensure continuity and up-to-dateness in scientific knowledge production, our journal continues to contribute to both national and international literature with the scientific content it offers.
Guided by the belief that scientific knowledge should be accessible to everyone, Journal of Science and Engineering adopts an "Open Access" policy and offers all published content to readers free of charge and without restrictions. It is of utmost importance that all stakeholders (authors, readers and researchers, publishers, reviewers, and editors) adhere to ethical principles in all publication processes conducted at the Afyon Kocatepe University Journal of Science and Engineering Sciences. Our journal and all its boards have adopted the guidelines and policies published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding ethical duties and responsibilities. Every submitted study undergoes a double-blind peer review process to ensure scientific impartiality. Our journal, which is indexed in various national and international databases, primarily the TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM TR Index, assigns a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) number to each published article, ensuring that studies are permanent and easily discoverable in the digital environment. Continuing to support innovative research in the fields of science and engineering, our journal resolutely maintains its vision of being a reliable and dynamic publication platform for researchers.
