1. The article undergoes a preliminary review process.
- The writing format of the article is examined, and a similarity check is conducted using the i-Thenticate (Turnitin) program.
- The article's compliance with the sample article template is checked.
- Articles that do not comply with the template are reported to the author, and corrections are requested for the article.
- During the preliminary review, the content of the submitted manuscript is examined by the editor and the field editor. Studies that are aligned with the journal’s aims and scope are included in the evaluation process.
2. The article moves to the Evaluation stage.
Our journal uses the double-blind peer review principle in the article evaluation process. Accordingly, reviewers and authors cannot see each other's information during the evaluation process. Therefore, the authors’ name, address, and affiliations are not included in the uploaded preload format.
The steps in the article evaluation process are as follows;
-At least two reviewers are invited to evaluate the article. The review process begins and is completed within the appropriate time frames.. If the evaluation process is not completed, an additional seven days will be provided.
-As a result of the evaluations, the article may be rejected, revised, or accepted. Depending on the result, the following item(s) are applied:
At this stage, the field editor reviews the referees’ evaluation reports and
a) If the article is rejected in line with the majority of the reviewer's opinions, the process is terminated, and the article is rejected.
b) If revisions are requested for the article, the author must make the necessary revisions within an appropriate time that is in line with the opinions of the reviewers.
c) If the reviewers provide positive evaluations regarding the publication of the manuscript, the final assessments are conducted by the field editor and the editor. Manuscripts deemed suitable for publication then proceed to the layout and typesetting stage..
3. If a correction arises or is overlooked during the article editing stage, it is requested from the author. The final proofreading procedures are carried out.
4. The evaluation process is finalized.
-An information message is sent to the author.
(For manuscripts sent to be published in our journal, the signed Author Declaration Form and cover letter form are requested to be added to the system during the initial submission. If the article is accepted, these information files are re-checked.)
The content of the issue containing the accepted manuscripts that have completed all revisions, as well as the decision to publish it, is determined by the journal’s editorial board.
