The papers submitted for publication in our journal are checked with the plagiarism detection software i-Thenticate. This report provides the percentage of similarity between the written text content and existing article text contents, indicating whether they are the same or very similar.
In accordance with our plagiarism policy, the editorial board of the Afyon Kocatepe University Journal of Science and Engineering applies the following rules:
- If the similarity rate is higher than 25%, the application is rejected.
- Only articles with a similarity rate of ≤ 20% are included in the double-blind peer review. The similarity rate of the sources on an individual basis must be ≤ 4%. The similarity rate of sources should be ≤ 4% on an individual basis. If not, the author(s) are requested to revise and re-upload the paper.
- All authors who upload articles to Afyon Kocatepe University Journal of Science and Engineering are deemed to have accepted the above-mentioned rules.
