Dizel motor her
iki yakıt türü ile 150 saatlik çalışmaya tabi tutulmuştur. Böylece, farklı
yakıtların ve beraberinde gelişen yanma olayının motor yağlama yağı ve motor
parçaları üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Çalışmada ilk olarak, uzun süreli
dayanım testleri sonucunda alınan yağlama numunelerindeki aşınma elementleri
(Al,Cu,Zn,Mo,Cd) X-Işını Floresans (XRF)
yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın son aşamasında ise farklı yakıt
kullanımının segmanlar üzerindeki etkilerini gözlemlemek amacıyla Taramalı
elektron mikroskobu (TEM) ve Enerji Dağılım X-Ray (EDX) analizleri yapılarak
motor parçalarının tribolojik analizleri yapılmıştır.
This study includes long
term endurance test in engine operated with different fuels. ıt was used as
engine fuels which diesel fuel and biodiesel fuel created from formed canola
oil methyl ester (KYME). The engine was operation run with for 150 h with both
fuel types. Thus, the effect of different fuels and combustion events on engine
lubricating oil and engine parts was examined. Firstly, the wear elements (Al,
Cu, Zn, Mo, Cd) obtained from the lubrication samples taken as a result of
long-term endurance test were examined by X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) method. In
order to observe the effects of used different fuel on the piston ring in the
final stage of the study, the Scanning Electrodes Microscope (SEM) and Energy
Dispersive X-Ray (EDX) analyzes were performed and the tribological analysis of
the engine components was carried out. In the analysis, more metal elements
were detected in the lubricating oil of engine M100 fueled compared to the
operation with KYME 10 fuel. Besides, it was found more abrasive wear lines in
piston rings in the KYME 10 fueled operation compared to M100 operation.
