The Study Of Validity And Reliability Test Of Progress İn Maths 6 For 60-77, Month Old Chıldren

Abstract

This study was planned to evaluate the validity and reliability works of “Progress in Maths 6” for 60-77 month-old children. The research was carried out with 60-77 month-old 334 kindergarten children in 2009-2010 education year. The kindergartens are dependent to the Ministry of Education. Test retest correlation coefficient was found as r=95. In addition, in order to determine the validity of the test, interior consistency coefficient was calculated and KR-20 value was found .81. Analyses indicate that “Progress in Maths 6” has high level of reliability and validity to measure mathematics ability of 60-77 month-old children
