Analysis of the Relationship Between the Organizational Climate and Transformational Leadership Roles of the School Administrators
Abstract
In this research, the correlation between the transformational leadership roles of school administrators
and climate of organization according to perceptions of teachers who officiate in primary schools was analyzed. The
sample of this research consisted of 258 teachers who officiate in public primary schools in Yakutiye, Erzurum that
subordinated to Ministry of Education in 2013-2014 educational years old. As data collection tools in research,
““Organizational Climate Scale’’” and ““Transformational Leadership Survey’’” was used. In this descriptive
research ,while analyzing the data was profited from standard deviation ,average, Pearson Product-Moment
Correlation and multiple linear regression. Results of research showed that the transformational leadership roles of
school administrators and climate of organization has a moderately significant correlation. The results of regression
analysis predicted idealized effect, being inspiration and individualized concern sides of transformational leadership
and supportive administrator behaviour side of climate of organization positively and meaningfully. School
administrators’ imperious behaviours and teachers’ unconcerned behaviours sides of climate of organization
predicted being inspiration side of transformational leadership. The results of research was discussed depending on
improve climate of organization in schools and transformational leadership behaviours of school administrators.
