I completed my undergraduate education in the Department of Archaeology at Mersin University in 2012. In 2015, as a reflection of my interest in material culture and iconography, I started my master's degree with a focus on Hellenistic and Roman grave stelae. In 2019, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Serra Durugönül, I completed my doctoral dissertation involving the evaluation of metal findings belonging to the city of Philadelphia in the Isaura region. Since January 2023, I've been studying on my project as a visiting researcher in the Archaeology Department at Durham University. My project, which I conducted under the guidance of Dr. Catherine M. Draycott from Durham University, focusing on the evaluation of metal findings in the ancient city of Diocaesarea (Uzuncaburç) and determining modern archaeometric analysis methods, made significant contributions to my academic skills. I focus on Greek and Roman artifacts, including medical instruments, military equipment, jewelries, engraved gems, lock parts and keys, military belts and clothing accessories, as well as bronze, gold, and silver plates. Additionally, I possess understanding of the archaeological and historical developments in Isauria and Cilicia Regions in Asia Minor. A particular area of interest for me is the study of Hellenistic and Roman grave steles.
