Abstract

Today the whole world witnesses crises, strife and unrest that affects all
people regardless of their different languages, colors, sects, beliefs or nationalities.
People have two different reactions to these problems:
Some of them would start blaming others for their suffering and for
hardships they face in life, looking for other people's mistakes and pointing a
finger at every shortcoming they might notice, justifying their deeds by accusing
others of following false approaches and doing corruption. All they can do is
make destructive comments and resort to blaming. If they were to see someone
drowning, they would blame him for throwing himself in the water without learning
how to swim first. How easy it is to blame, be destructive, criticize, and
philosophize; while how difficult it is to act in a constructive manner.
However, there are another kind of people who excel in their behavior. They
think deeply about their reality, understand its problems and find solutions for
them. With a clear vision and a careful plan of action, they work hard to save
themselves and their societies from destruction. Their work is calm. Their aim is
clear. They work hard because of their love to do what they do without demeaning
others or indulging in their hostility.
History keeps their names and records of their deeds on pages of glory, because
they carry light to people in order to guide their steps out of the darkness
of ignorance, intolerance, hatred, despair and injustice into the light of knowledge,
endurance, love, hope and justice. The above mentioned traits describe
the carriers of light (Nur) who are Nur students. By their hands they carry
torches of light. They work silently without noise. Their aim is to establish a
better world for humanity, and they are active and ambitious. Their ultimate
wish is to be among the winners in Paradise and to avoid hell fire. They work
for the happiness of mankind. Their path is simple and clear. Their deeds prove
their words, and whoever accompanies them is pleased. Their guide is the Risale-
i Nur and their leader is Nursi, the reformer of his time.
He drew their path and prescribed their duties in his messages to them named
(Risale-i Nur). So, what is this mission? What is its fundamental concept?
And what are the requirements?

نعيش اليوم -ويعيش العالم كله- أزمات وفتن وقلاقل تقض مضاجع الجميع على
اختلاف ألسنتنا وألواننا وأجناسنا ودياناتنا وأوطاننا، وينقسم الناس أمام هذه الفتن
والقلاقل على قسمين:
قسم يبدأ باللوم وتحميل الآخر تبعات ما يعانيه وما يعيشه، ويدور في فلك الهجوم
على الآخر ولومه، والبحث عن سقطاته وهفواته وبيان فساد مذهبه وأفعاله، لا تسمع
منه إلا ضجيجا ونقدا هداما، ولا تجد منه إلا يأسا وقنوطا، يرى الغريق يوشك على
الغرق وليس لديه إلا اللوم لماذا نزل وهو لا يجيد السباحة، وما أسهل اللوم، وما أيسر
الهدم، وما أبسط الانتقاد والتنظير والتفلسف والضجيج، وما أصعب العمل، وما أرهق
البناء وذلك لا يجيده إلا قسم آخر.
قسم يتأمل الواقع ويشخص داءه ويبحث عن الدواء لهذا الداء، ويعمل على إخراج
نفسه ومجتمعه من دائرة الفتنة ومربع الهلاك وفق رؤية واضحة وخطة مدروسة، يعمل
بصمت دون ضجيج أو بلبلة، مقصده واضح، وغايته محددة، يعمل بمقتضى محبته
لمسلكه فحسب، من دون أن يرد إلى تفكيره أو يتدخل في علمه عداء الأخرين أو
التهوين من شأنهم بل لا ينشغل بهم أصلا.
هذا الصنف من البشر هم من يدون التاريخ أسماءهم وأفعالهم في صفحات من
نور، لأنهم يحملون النور في أيديهم ليخرجوا به الناس من الظلمات إلى النور، من
ظلمات الجهل إلى نور العلم، من ظلمات التعصب إلى نور التسامح، من ظلمات
الكراهية إلى نور المحبة، من ظلمات اليأس إلى نور الأمل، من ظلمات الظلم إلى نور
العدل. هؤلاء هم حملة النور، وهؤلاء هم طلابه الذين يحملون في أيديهم مشاعل
النور، يعملون بصمت دون ضجيج، يعملون من أجل البناء، بناء عالم أفضل للإنسانية،
حركتهم دؤوبة، همتهم عالية، رغبتهم الفوز بالجنة والنجاة من النار، هدفهم إسعاد
البشرية، منهجهم واضح للعيان، سلوكهم لعلمهم ترجمان، هم القوم لا يشقى بهم
جليسهم، أستاذهم في ذلك رسائل النور، ورائدهم مجدد عصره وبديع زمانه سعيد
النورسي -رحمه ا للّه رسم لهم منهجهم، وحدد لهم وظيفتهم بكل وضوح في رسائله لهم المسماة
”كليات رسائل النور“ فيا ترى ما هي هذه الوظيفة؟ وما مفهومها؟ وما هي متطلباتها؟
يأتي هذا البحث ليقف مليا أمام رسائل النور محاولا استجلاء هذه الوظيفة السامية
التي خطها الأستاذ، باحثا عن مفهومها، ومتطلباتها، والأسباب الداعية للقيام بها،
والنتائج المرجوة منها على واقع البشرية جمعاء. أسأل ا للّ أن يوفقني إلى القيام به،
والإفادة منه وبه، إنه ولي ذلك والقادر عليه.
