A Case Report: From Epigastric Pain to Renal Atrophy
Abstract
Urinary system obstruction is one of the risk factors that can play role in the etiology of urinary tract infections, hypertension and acute or chronic renal failure which can cause serious morbidity and mortality rates. Renal insufficiency is an important public health problem in the world and in our country. Renal atrophy which is a result of urolithiasis related urinary obstruction that can play a role in the etiology of renal insufficiency is discussed in this case-report. By this case, we wanted to draw attention to the importance of early diagnosis and treatment in primary care.
